Jerusalem Old City Walking Tour

Walking tour of the Old City of Jerusalem beginning at Jaffa Gate through the Jewish quarter and part of the Armenian quarter with explanations of the history and meaning of the sites. View from the top of the Hurva Shul. A choice of several audio visual presentations, including "Machon Hamikdash" aka the Temple Institute, the Burnt House (not recommended for small children) "Plugat HaKotel" , and more options. A brief tour of the historic Cardo marketplace , a plethora of choices for lunch, followed by a visit to the holiest Jewish site in the world. The Western Wall. Generally, this is followed by a tour down in the City of David National park with a choice of the ancient Hezikia's water tunnel or the newly opened pilgrimmage trail. For those interested in a Christian aspect, in lieu of the City of David we can continue from the wall to visit the Christian quarter, parts of the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
